Empires of the Deep is an undersea adventure flick from China that I've had my eye on for a while now, however, around November the first trailer was uploaded to YouTube and I didn't even realize it! Thanks to Bonnie at ABackwardsStory for bringing it to my attention.
Yes, the CGI looks pretty cheesy, however, I can look past this since there are so few mermaid themed films out there. Currently no release date is set, but you can keep up with the project on IMDB.
